At HOCEM, our Relief Work and Missions pillar is where compassion meets action. Rooted in Christ’s call to care for “the least of these,” we step into moments of crisis with love, supplies, and long-term solutions that restore dignity and rebuild lives.
Our Mission
To respond swiftly and strategically to urgent physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—especially in times of disaster, displacement, or poverty—while sharing the hope and healing power of the Gospel.
Where We Serve
We go where the need is greatest—rural villages hit by drought, communities displaced by conflict, and families burdened by hunger, sickness, and poverty. Our teams operate both domestically in Ethiopia and in cross-border mission fields, building bridges of mercy and ministry.
What We Do
Through our Relief and Missions department, HOCEM provides:
